Montgomery Village is a census-designated place and an unincorporated area in Montgomery County, Maryland, United States.

As an unincorporated area, Montgomery Village's boundaries are not officially defined. Montgomery Village is, however, recognized by the United States Census Bureau as a Census-designated Place, and by the United States Geological Survey as a populated place located at 391035N, 771134W (39.176469, -77.192654)GR1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the place has a total area of 16.9 km (6.5 mi). 16.8 km (6.5 mi) of it is land and 0.1 km (0.04 mi) of it (0.46%) is water.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 38,051 people, 14,142 households, and 9,729 families residing in the area. The population density was 2,267.2/km (5,875.1/mi). There were 14,548 housing units at an average density of 866.8/km (2,246.2/mi). The racial makeup of the area was 62.24% White, 16.90% African American, 0.36% Native American, 11.87% Asian, 0.07% Pacific Islander, 4.54% from other races, and 4.02% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 11.72% of the population.
